Dino Celeste is Chairman of heXor, a leading health economics research and consultancy firm, Johannesburg. Currently, he is also Managing Director of Holisizwe Holding, a healthcare focused South-African investment boutique focusing in taking Black Economic Empowerment equity stakes in high growth listed and non-listed core providers to the healthcare and medical industry in South Africa and the continent. He is a trade and investment adviser to corporations striving to expand and develop their business in European, Middle East and African markets or to execute successfully cross-border Mergers & Acquisitions. Formerly, he has been founding partner and CEO EMEA (Europe, Africa & Middle East) of MEDIMIX, a Paris-based international medical marketing research and services firm with affiliates across Europe, Africa, Middle East, South America and the US. He holds an MBA from the Lyon Graduate School of Business (France). He has 20 years of business experience in Europe, Middle East and Africa and has built an extensive network of affiliates and partners in more than 15 countries across the EMEA region including: Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, France, Italy, Spain, Senegal, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, UAE and South Africa. He is a member of SACRA (South African Clinical Research Association); PBIRG (Pharmaceutical Business & Intelligence Research Group); NAPM (National Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers); ISPOR (International Society of Pharmacoeconomics & Outcomes Research); FSACCI (French South-African Chamber of Commerce and Industry); and AVCA (African Venture Capitalist Association).
